Bridgescore+ is the successor to ACBLscore+, a project by ACBL to replace ACBLscore the current scoring program. ACBLscore+ was delivered to ACBL in March 2014 at the end of the contract. There were subsequent updates delivered to ACBL in May 2014, and in 2015. These are known as Version 1.0.X. Hammond Software has full rights to ACBLscore+, including copyright. ACBL similarly has full rights to ACBLscore+, excluding copyright ownership.

The version version of Bridgescore+ was Version 2.0.X to distinguish it from ACBLscore+.

Hammond Software has continued to develop the ACBLscore+ software and has re-branded it as Bridgescore+. It has been run at the some of the largest tournaments in ACBL.
